Boston intellectual property attorney Susan G. L. Glovsky said she was also impressed by the fact that the plaintiff in CardiAQ was able to convince the judge to grant the enhanced award.
"Even if it isn't double the jury's award [as the plaintiff requested], it's still a lot of money being awarded for enhanced damages," she said.
