Hamilton, Brook, Smith & Reynolds, P.C. Elects Alexander Adam, Ph.D. and Christopher Albert as Principals

(Boston, MA) - Hamilton, Brook, Smith & Reynolds, P.C. is pleased to announce that Alex Adam, Ph.D. and Chris Albert have been elected principals of the firm.
Alex has a Ph.D. from Boston University in biomedical engineering and is an expert on medical device technology. Alex was born in Germany and remains a fluent German speaker. He is active in the German American business community and is currently serving on the Membership Committee of the German-American Business Council of Boston. As an undergrad at Boston University, Alex was a nationally recognized track athlete. Alex’s practice specializes in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the fields of medical devices, biotechnology and life sciences, computer systems, electronics, imaging software, control systems, and mechanical devices. He obtained his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.

Chris has an M.S. in chemistry, with an emphasis in organic chemistry, and a B.S. in chemical engineering, both from Tufts University. He is a lifelong learner and has pursued advanced coursework in the biological sciences during his time at Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds. Chris is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and running. Chris has nearly a decade of experience litigating IP matters in federal courts, including Hatch-Waxman ANDA disputes for generics and brands, and has significant expertise in e-discovery and pharmaceutical matters. His practice focuses on patent and trademark prosecution and litigation in the areas of chemistry, biotechnology, materials chemistry, and medical devices. He obtained his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
