Dr. Hugh Herr, of client MIT Media Lab, on CBS’s 60 Minutes Overtime

Dr. Hugh Herr, Head of the Biomechatronics group at the MIT Media Lab, is advancing prosthetics technology to improve the quality of life for thousands of people with physical challenges.
Dr. Herr is featured in the 60 Minutes Overtime segment which highlights the MIT Media Lab. In the video, he demonstrates his invention to boost the capability of able-bodied people. It's a foot and ankle exoskeleton device that adds "muscles" to the leg. Herr envisions a future where people wear this type of device to help power walking, running, and jumping.
