Hamilton Brook Smith & Reynolds, an intellectual property boutique with offices in Boston and Lincoln, Massachusetts, seeks a Patent Attorney for its Life Sciences team. Candidates should be able to work on all matters involving small molecules, and have experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patent validity, non-infringement and freedom-to-operate analyses and supporting due diligences related to small molecule pharmaceuticals. A Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or related discipline and registration with the USPTO are required.   

Successful candidates will have outstanding writing and interpersonal skills, as well as strong academic credentials in technical and legal areas. A J.D. degree from an accredited law school with admission to at least one state bar is required.
