Ben’s practice specializes in U.S. and international trademark application preparation and prosecution. His expertise spans all phases of federal and international trademark prosecution, from clearance searches to registration. His experience also includes preparing agreements, such as settlement agreements and non-disclosure agreements, and handling adversarial matters, such as cease and desist letters.

Before joining the firm, Ben gained experience as a legal intern at several intellectual property and general law practice firms. During this time, he worked with clients in the fields of pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, medical devices, consumer products, entertainment, fashion, and art. Ben also gained experience as a legal intern in the in-house legal department of a major record label, where he supported various practice groups, such as trademark, IP litigation, public policy, privacy, M&A, IP licensing, and employment.

Ben graduated from Boston University School of Law in 2024, cum laude, having served as a staff editor on the Boston University Journal of Science and Technology Law, a research assistant for Professors Jessica Silbey (copyright law) and Michael Meurer (patent law), and the President of the Boston University Intellectual Property Law Society. Ben also placed second in the 2024 Boston Intellectual Property Law Association Annual Writing Competition with an article entitled “The Substandard Similarity Test: The Substantial Similarity Test Applied to Musical Works and Sound Recordings.”
