Stephen Doyle

Stephen Doyle has over 35 years of experience as an attorney, businessman, and Founder of tech startups in the US and abroad. As a co-founder of TCF Law Group, Steve advises both private and public companies in the US and abroad, representing them on mergers and acquisitions, private equity financing and fundraising, and technology joint ventures and licensing. Steve is an advisor and board member to startups providing AI solutions, flood mapping, and financial services, and has co-founded companies providing solutions to the aerospace market (e.g., Airbus) and online search and curation solutions (partners with Microsoft). Steve has held roles at public companies ranging from International Counsel and General Counsel to chief strategy officer and head of business units, and positions at private companies managing operations and finance. His experience includes working and living in Europe, as well as working with both developed markets and emerging markets in Eastern Europe, Latin America, China, and East Asia. Steve teaches international business transactions at Boston University Law School and has authored various publications on international law and business.
Vinit Nijhawan

Vinit Nijhawan brings expertise in business development and technology commercialization to the SCOPE project. He is Managing Director, Office of Technology Development, and Executive-in-Residence at ITEC (Institute of Technology, Entrepreneurship & Commercialization) at Boston University. He also teaches MBA courses on Entrepreneurship at BU. Vinit has over 30 years’ experience building five startups: as CEO of three, five were acquired. He was Venture Partner at Key Venture Partners and over two years sourced over 200 deals and made one investment that was acquired for $430M. Nijhawan is an advisor and board member to several technology startups and was a Mass High Tech All-Star in 2005. He is a Board Member of Mass Ventures, an early stage, quasi-public Massachusetts venture capital firm, and a co-founder of EdTech Accelerator LearnLaunchX.
Vicky Wu Davis

Leaving the corporate world of the telecom industry in her late 20’s, Vicky Wu Davis started a software/middleware company in the video game industry and ran it for over ten years. After becoming a mom, she became interested in education and started Youth CITIES (Creating Impact Through Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability) to cultivate young entrepreneurial leaders, where she serves as the Executive Director. In addition, Vicky is a member of Beacon Angels (a Boston-based angel group that makes investments mostly in tech and life sciences). For the past 16 years, Vicky has been a mentor at MIT’s Venture Mentoring Service, which supports innovation and entrepreneurial activity throughout the MIT community. She is also the Founder of “A Seat at the Table,” aimed at redefining the leadership representation when conversations take place.
