The Venture Forum Event Description
Success is just around the corner. You have developed your product, scaled up production, and made a few sales. Now you need to market and sell it for growth and financial viability. What do you need to get there? Successful strategies for both marketing and sales. In a novel format, The Venture Forum offers two keynote speakers on Tuesday, June 9, Jim Pouliopoulos on marketing and John Petrella on sales. Their talks will be followed by two case presentations on an energy efficiency product and a data extraction algorithm for sequenced genomes and panel discussion with a high-tech public relations and marketing expert.
Jim Pouliopoulos, Marketing Lecturer and the Director of the Professional Sales Program at Bentley University will explain what a successful go-to-market strategy looks like and how your company may evolve as you reinvent it over time. John Petrella, Vice President of Sales for Kurlan & Associates, Inc. will outline a successful sales strategy with an overview of sales issues and channels that create demand for products and services.
Paul Laskow, CEO and Founder of SaveEnergySystems will present the first case on his energy efficiency system, the DLC, which manages HVAC for commercial and industrial facilities ranging from 10,000 to 200,000 sq. ft. and provides 10 to 25 percent in overall energy reduction through the reduction of both demand and use charges.
In the second case presentation, Kryngle Daly, Founder and Chief Science Officer of KBioBox will discuss how there is nothing straightforward about selling his systems. His company is opening the door for the advent of genomic medicine through educational marketing and relationships to reach the genomic medicine community.
The two cases will be addressed by the keynote speakers and panelist Dale Allaire, Managing Partner of BridgeView Marketing Corporation, whose firm offers integrated high-tech PR campaigns that deliver to bottom line, measurable returns.
The evening’s co-moderators will be ARM Azad, Ph.D., President & CEO of Prospeed.net/Sustainicor Energy & Water, and Cameron Carey, President of Sustainable Energy Solutions.
